Hi Guys! I thought I’d do a little introduction post for the first blog. If you follow me on Instagram, hi again. if this is your first time, hello, my name is Holly, I’m 28 years young, mum to two boys aged 8 and 5. I also have a partner called Jim.

I originally started blogging when our eldest, AJ was diagnosed with CMPI. Later on, he was diagnosed with a gluten/wheat allergy. I found it a good way of writing down everything we got up to. Over time, I fell out of love with blogging, stop writing and slowed down on Instagram.
March/April
“You don’t always need a plan. Sometimes you just need to breathe, trust, let go and see what happens”
In March/April 2019, I went through a traumatic event in the form of a rare type of #ectopicpregnancy. This resulted in emergency surgery and two blood transfusion as well as a week-long stay in hospital. As a result, I got PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) and had to receive counselling and CBT. Also in 2020 and recently, my mental health took an massive hit due to many things and felt it was time my blogging and vlogging took an back seat while I found myself again. I plucked up the courage to start posting on Instagram again. I was scared to share what I had been through and worried about what people would say about me telling my story. How wrong was I? I received nothing, but nice comments/messages from people who have been through something similar and also people were glad to see someone talk about it.
Autism
In February 2020, we finally received the news that we was expecting and hoping for. After a 2 year battle, AJ was diagnosed with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder). Even though, we was expecting the diagnosis, it still felt like a shock to us. After a few or shall we say many tears, we decided to fight for the right support for him in all of life’s aspects and start looking to life of living it to the full and try to bring him up to the best of our ability.
As my followers grew on Instagram, I decided it was time to restart my blog from scratch, post tips, buying guides, potentially creating a forum for mums, dads, grandparents etc and doing vlogs on a daily basis.
So without further ado, welcome to my blog. Feel free to comment on the posts and hope you enjoy it.
Holly xx
